A Place to Heal

Welcome! I am so glad you’re here. We all get overwhelmed and need help sometimes. At A Place to Heal you will be met with warmth, compassion, and non-judgment. I believe that all my clients, young and old, come into the therapy space as good humans with the capacity for amazing growth, change and healing. I am merely a guide, conduit, and witness to that process.

In the Japanese aesthetic of kintsugi, broken pots, dishes, or other items are mended using liquid gold. This leaves beautiful golden lines where the item was once broken, and the object is now even stronger than it was before. Healing is a journey from the confusing broken pieces of experiences, pain, and overwhelming emotions toward an authentic, empowered, and unified self. I am here to help you or your child understand your pain and heal those pieces so you can become powerful and resilient in your own life.

Members of the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities are welcome, celebrated, and safe in this space.

Who I work with

I specialize in supporting children, teens, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I also have experience working with clients navigating identity exploration, including LGBTQIA+ identities and neurodivergence. I use relational, evidence-based approaches to therapies that are paced according to your readiness for change and healing. I am trained in play therapy, art therapy, sand tray therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention).
